I had hoped to leave Weston with something Southwest logo-ed, but those are in surprisingly short supply here at the Southwest part of the terminal. I wanted to take a picture of Weston with a Southwest plane in the background, but the design of the terminal windows is such that I can’t lean anything up against it for a photo.

I hope someone in line finds Weston and takes him on a trip.

It seemed appropriate to leave Agent Natasha in the middle of an Ingress Portal. Don’t worry, I made sure it was nice and friendly before leaving her there. Boom.

Will another Agent find her? I doubt it. We’re all too busy looking at our phones. Most likely she will be adopted by a kid at the playground. They don’t need augmented reality games to notice and explore the world around them.

I had big plans to find a MLK statue for Junior, but then I did other things and by the time I realized I still have to leave him somewhere all I could find was a table. At least it’s kind of a neat pattern.

I was in a hurry to run a bunch of errands before my game today and forgot to name this kitty before its release. I have retroactively named it Blush. Never noticed its cheeks before!

Soo… I have a bit of a problem. It’s turns out “30 sheet” on the Printing Paper of a Pretty Animal package means 24 sheets of animal origami and 6 sheets of background. I have 5 sheets of Pretty Animals left.

Yesterday I went to Daiso to find more, realizing how ironic it would be to buy another pack of Pretty Animals when the point of this 30 Days was to get rid of the original sheets. (Un)fortunately, they no longer make pre-printed origami animal paper.

I then considered folding animals with plain sheets of paper, then drawing faces on them. I did some sketches to see how that would look. Really really Not Good.

So with 5 sheets of paper and 11 days to go, I have to ration the rest of the Pretty Animals. I’m a little bummed that this won’t actually be 30 Days or 30 Pretty Animals, but on the upside, I’ll have completed the original goal of folding and distributing all the Kittehs and Piggehs in the pack.

It finally warmed up enough for me to go on a ride, so I took Bobby Cat with me to Arastradero Preserve, which features Arastradero Lake. Found a great spot with a classic Arastradero tree in the background!

I was going to leave today’s Pretty Animal with some beer at the store, today being Friday and all, but she just didn’t look right with booze. Ended up with Gertrude at the rink but didn’t want to do another rink photo so I ended up leaving her on a teammate’s windshield. I didn’t tell anyone I did it and I don’t think anyone on my team follows this 30 Days thing so we’ll see if she says anything about it tomorrow.

Sorry for the boring picture. It was night, my teammate’s car is black, and I was trying to do this without anyone seeing me.

Messed around with some Aviary “stickers” for fun. All hail Queen Gertrude!
