Sunny St. Petersburg
I'm told that in St. Petersburg, it's more often rainy in the summer than clear, so I just wanted to document the fact that I really lucked out with my final few days here. Check out the forecast:

I hope it's accurate. And no, it's not the forecast for St. Petersburg, FL. That one looks like this:

Bwahahahaha.

I don't get it. Why is "clear" different from "sunny"? When the clouds aren't covering it (i.e. it's clear), doesn't the sun shine? Or is the normal state of the St. Petersburg sky gun metal gray until the someone is authorized to turn the sun on?

According to my boss, the way things get done here is with stamps. So someone has to stamp something to authorize the sun being turned on.
All necessary turn-the-sun-on stamps seem to have been obtained, along with a full set of make-the-sky-blue and add-some-fluffy-white-cloud stamps.
