Are They Speedy 'Cause They're Well Fed?
My inability to kill the mosquitoes here really hurts my pride. Currently in the kitchen there are two mosquitoes on the wall, one giant one on the ceiling, one on the window, two in the curtains, at least a couple flying around, and I can't kill a single one.
I guess I should just be glad that they're in the kitchen (I left the window open but the door shut) and not the bedroom.

How are you trying to kill them? Maybe Russian mosquitoes are different. I grab mosquitoes out of the air here all the time, and I bet your reaction time is better than mine.
Rolled up kitchen towel, snap?

I'm just trying to smack and clap them, which works just fine on the mosquitoes in the US. The ones back home are stupid and single hand grabbable! I did try a rolled up towel, and that didn't even work!
