Holstein Horses
Most mornings, on my way into work, I pass by a handful of animals grazing along 680 N as I pass through Fremont: a few brown horses and a couple Holsteins. The Holsteins are skinny, and thus look like their horsie friends from a distance. The first time I saw them, I was convinced that someone had managed to breed together a cow and a horse. After studying them closely for weeks (sorry, other drivers on 680), I realized what they really were: really really fit cows.
Still, they're fun to look at. Maybe I'll try to get a picture of them so I can share the Holstein horsie joy with all of you (sorry again, other drivers on 680).
