Adventures In Snowboard Tuning
I needed to prep my snowboard from storage, so I stopped by REI on my way home tonight to pick up a scraper. I knew I had a couple, but I wasn't sure what kind of condition they were in so I figured I'd grab a new one just in case. Besides, I'm always looking for a reason to go to REI.
New scraper in hand, I dug up my box of tuning tools. Inside were five scrapers, two of them new. I can't say I was surprised.
Scrape, scrape, scrape. The piles of wax shavings reminded me of snow. Snooow! I can't wait to go play in the stuff on Sunday!
Finished up the snowboard and assembled my new Shop-Vac for cleanup. The last time I used one of these to pick up wax shavings, I accidentally blew them all over the garage. Since this one didn't have a reverse, I figured I was safe. Not so! I plugged the hose into the wrong hole, turned the thing on, and watched as my pile of wax shavings blew away. Good job, me.
No matter! I'm ready to go! Swishy swishy, here I come!
