5 seconds... only 5 seconds? huh, for cookies, i'd go at least 30 seconds. Hell, i've eaten jelly bellys hours, er... ok, DAYS later when found, reasonably clean, on the car floor. In fact... when backpacking, if it still resembles food, its still edible! No time limit enforced :D
