Mmm ... Data

Finally, everything is hooked up and working! I got my first heart rate, speed, cadence, and altitude dataset on my ride into work today. Check out the graph!

The two big heart rate/speed dips are stoplights. The mini-ascent accompanied by the decrease in speed is the Wolfe overpass. The last spike in heart rate at the end is from bunny hopping the speed bumps in the parking lot at work.

As for why I always felt like riding home was all uphill, it looks like it really is! Don't mind the negative absolute altitude numbers; I zeroed the altimeter in my 2nd floor apartment. ;)

I <3 data.

That is super cool. I just put a simple computer on my bike 2 weekends ago. Love knowing how fast I'm going and how far I've gone!

I had one of those on there for a while, but I got sucked into integrating it all when I saw that I could create integrated graphs with all the data. :)

OMG that rules! So, uh, how do you mount a HRM on a horse? I assume it's not with a horse-sized version of the strap that goes around the ribcage ...
