Gym Squid
As I pulled into the parking lot at the gym this afternoon, I saw a guy tentatively ride up on a new used 929 (it still had a dealer plate) wearing nothing but shorts, a tank top, sneakers, and a helmet. He parked by the door, and as I approached he was dismounting and getting his wallet out of the rear seat. He kept looking at me with an expression that screamed, "Acknowledge me and my cool guy sportbike, pleeeeease!" At first, I purposely didn't, because I think n00bs riding liter bikes with no gear are big fat stupidos (he kinda looked like one anyway), but then I felt bad for him and gave him a smile, which resulted in a glowingly happy look of, "Oh my god I'm so cool she loves me and my bike yesssss!" But then he wouldn't stop staring at me in the gym, which kind of made me ew, so maybe I should frown instead of smile at icky squids from now on.
