Where'd Everyone Go?
The extra long weekend is here! I tried to run a couple errands after lunch and encountered all of one human the entire time.
I started off by going to school, where I needed to drop something off. I went to go find the recipient. Not there. I went to go thank someone for a favor. Not there. I went to go say goodbye to a couple folks whose last day is today. Not there, and not there. I went to go bug G, as is customary when I show up at school. Also not there.
I did the spookily empty school drop-off and headed out to get my skates sharpened. I rode to EWH. No Ron, no Kevin, no Jason, no one who could sharpen skates. The only person there was the mom, who told me that they were all off somewhere and would be back later in the afternoon. I rode over to Ice Oasis, hoping that their skate sharpener guy would be in. Not there.
Where the hell is everyone?! My skates are dull, dammit!
