Chameleon Hair
My hair can't seem to decide what color it wants to be. Every time I get under a different type of light it looks like a different color. Plus, it's fading, which was expected, but it's fading really fast, which was not expected, and is making me frown. :-/
The burgundy-ish from last week is now gone. Well, except when it's wet and under incandescent light, in which case it looks like a deeper reddish version of the burgundy-ish. But then it dries and look like yucky-ish. Speaking of yucky-ish, under fluorescent light it looks like major-yucky-ish, i.e. it looks like brown-that-failed.
It's a different story in the sun. On day two, it looked almost orange-blond in the sun. Now, it looks old-pinkish-something in the sun. It's such a weird color I can't really describe it.
I saw copper the other day, too. I think that was when it was dry, under the incandescent light at home.
In any case, I don't like it, and will be redyeing soon to get rid of the current dull dark blech. So now the question is, do I redye with Infra Red (the one that made me look like Raggedy Ann), or the even lighter but very lively Pillarbox Red (the one I had on my not-quite-a-mohawk last year)?
I think I'll flip a coin.
