Mathilda Madness
So I'm driving down Mathilda toward 101 this afternoon, sunroof open, windows down, Rockstar blaring, bandana on my head to keep my hair from blowing everywhere.
You... can't .. be me I'm a lightweight Kraut Rocketeerin' RockstARRR!
... who looks like a pirate.
Anyway, I'm first in line at the red light at Evelyn. I look over to my right, and this guy in an early 90's Nissan Sentra smiles at me. I'm in a good mood (good mood == friendly mood) so I smile back. I then look away to plug my cell phone into its charger. I look back over at Mr. Sentra, and his window is now rolled down. And he's leaned over looking at me, smiling. He sees that I see him, and he does a funny eyebrow thing at me. Amusing. The light changes and I drive off.
A few blocks later I'm first in line again at the red light at Maude. I look over to my left as this guy in an early 90's Ford Escort with a busted front bumper pulls up next to me. He honks his horn, waves, and blows me a kiss, which elicits a very amused smile from me. The light changes and I drive off. He keeps up, honks his horn, and with a huge grin on his face starts yelling something at me as we zoom up the 101 overpass. I can't hear a thing he's saying and I tell him so, although he probably can't hear me telling him so. I take the 101 onramp and he continues down Mathilda, but not before honking several more times and waving goodbye.
I'm a little confused. It's not as if I was dressed for a night out; I was wearing a T-shirt and a bandana!
I think they must either (1) be after me lucky charms pretty red car or (2) have pirate fetishes.
