Clutchless DOWNshifting
It was nifty and all to find out that I could clutchlessly shift in my car, but I when I wrote that last post, I'd tried it only a few times to see that it worked. Well, it worked. Yeah, nifty. Woop.
On my way home from hockey tonight, I decided to see what it was really about. I blipped the accelerator, popped out of 3rd, pulled hard on 2nd, gunned it, felt it shift, and wheeeeE! Totally smooth, and it happened much faster than if I'd used the clutch.
I wish I hadn't done that.
Okay, no I don't.
Poor car.
