Team Ingrid: Purple Mehlhornies?
We still don't have an official name, but we did have a team Mehlhornies cheer between periods. :)
We put 49 shots on net, but came away with nothing. Nothing! Zeeero. BP shut us out. :(
I played D again. Blah! I totally screwed up on a breakaway in the 3rd. I kept backing up until finally I screened the goalie and the other team scored. When the whistle blew, I turned around and acked, 'cause the net was right behind me. I'd thought I was still near the blue line! I guess I would have been near the blue line, at any other rink. It's been a while since I've played at little Lake Belmont. ;)
I got called for tripping in the 3rd. I'd like to use this opportunity to say, "*#$^(*^(*@^$&*^!!!!!" I WAS TAKING A SHOT, I CONNECTED WITH THE PUCK (I think I even got it on net), AND THE OTHER PLAYER DOVE! DOVE! I have no problems with having penalties called on me, but if I don't deserve it, *#$(*^@(*&@#^$*&^@!!!!!
*@(*#$#(*&@)($#$!!!
Final score: 0-3. No complaints there, given the shot count. Great game, BP.

I know exactly how you feel by that penalty. I saw it and I thought it was weak!
I was called for a lame one the week before. I had my feet on the ground, legs bent, not moving, with stick blade on the ice, both hands on my stick pushing my stick down hard onto the ice and I got called for roughing.

Darn that ice. No whistles blow if it sends you flying, but if you take your stick to it, it's a penalty. Pfft!
Oh, I mean, *$(*#&(*&%(*&@!!!!!

duuude, i *so* know what you mean. sure, 75% of my calls are probably justified but there's that other 25% where i'm like, WHAT?! ;o)

It pissed me off and made me want to knock everyone over. :(

Oh, and I got whacked in the head twice in the second game. Once in the front of the helmet and once in the back. Both times I was at the location of the puck so it's beyond me what the refs were looking at. At least Lisa drew a weak one to make up for one of them. :-)

They were looking at the puck, of course!
No, wait, if they'd been doing that, I wouldn't have been called for tripping.
