Pic of the Day
Monkey slippers! Pookie gave them to me for Christmas last year. Tonight's the first night I've worn them. This is a momentous occasion! It means I'm finally able to move past these ones, after more years than I care to count. That means more to me than I can express in words.
And now, to move away from ambiguous sentences related to drawn out emotional healing and more toward my usual silly self ...
Which is funnier, the fact that I have monkey slippers, or the fact that I had fuzzy leopard print Steve Madden slippers?

Wow, I just realized I have a lot of monkeys in my life. Old Monkichi, new Monkichi, the Paul Frank monkey, Meestah Chow, my friend Wayne the monkey ...
Oh, and the monkey whose hair I mimicked a couple months back. Hehe.
