Muse back!
July 29, 2004 / Thursday
Phew!
Finally, done with skating camp! Know what this means?
It means I skate 1 MPH faster than I did Sunday night (when I had fresh legs).
It means I'll get to rest my tired hip flexors.
It means I'll get to heal my sore knee.
It means I'll get to go to the gym again and work my upper body.
It means I might actually go to bed at a decent hour tomorrow night.
It means I'll have to do my 35,000 mile oil change in the next week or so.
It means I have a lot to work on over the next few weeks (or months).
It means no more trips to San Jose for a while (stop laughing, you!).
Teddio and the Monkey stopped by Logitech after their game at Rollin' Ice. It was good to see them, and we went out for some post hockey grub. I got to have tendon and tripe at this homey little place in Santa Clara (?) with some Cantonese speaking dude. Cool.
In knee news, I was pushing on the side of my injured knee with my hand earlier to compare with the uninjured one. There's this ligament (?) in there that moves around. It isn't particularly painful, but it can't be good.
I'll see how it does after resting the next few days. The good news is, I can still skate on it with the hinged brace.
