Question For The TSA

How exactly does not carrying big liquids, presenting my little liquids in a plastic baggy, emptying my pockets of change, removing my sweater and shoes, getting pornoscanned, and being cursorily groped help keep me safe from a Domodedovo-style attack?

It doesn’t. It does, however, justify all those small minded people with very large rubber stamps existence. Which makes their managers much more secure. Also the donations from the security industry to the politicians become VERY secure.

In the end it’s just not about you, or me, or the people we fly with, it’s really about keeping a very small group of people that don’t even utilize the screening procedure happy, warm and well funded. And isn’t that what’s really important here?

And I’ll stop my rant here so that neither of us ends up on a list somewhere :-)
