At the gym this evening:
Yoga kicked my butt as usual.
Some chick hopped on the rack and busted out a bunch of wide grip pull-ups. At first I was in awe, but then I felt scared. It’s normal to feel scared around approximate “equals” who you know can snap you in half, right?
Some naked lady strolled out of the shower pushing a shopping cart. The naked part was normal, but the shopping cart was kind of strange.
On the way out, I held the door for someone, and when she finished walking through it without acknowledging either me or the magically open door, I stopped, looked her in the eye, and very deliberately said, “You’re welcome.” That seemed to snap her out of her self centered little world. Please, lady, teach your three kids to say thank you. Better yet, teach them to be respectful of others in general.
Eating dinner at Joy Cups next door. Grilled pork spring roll and grilled beef bánh mì. The lady here is super nice. ^_^
