I finally made it to Laguna Seca today. Not for cars or for motorcycles, but for bicycles. Yes, bicycles. On the track, on the hills, in the mud, in the parking lot. Bicycles everywhere at the Sea Otter Classic.
I had a great time, despite my stomach still feeling not quite right, and despite getting a pretty nasty sunburn on my neck and arms. Sun, in northern California? Who woulda thunk it? We had sun, all right. Sun, blue skies, and fluffy clouds of the “imagine me into a random animal performing a random act sort,” like the hippopotamus sliding on his belly whilst sticking his tongue out, and the fart-propelled fluffy frog.
And then home. And then a nap.
And now for some aloe.
