Played the top team in the division today. They came into today’s game undefeated. We, on the other hand, had eeked out three wins to get there (all one point margin games). We had heart, and, today, tired legs. They had better rested legs and an overall more experienced team. Again, we played hard, we banged our sticks, and our wonderful fans made some good noise, but in the end, they came away with the trophy.
Final score: 0-4. They got the big team trophy, but we did all get individual mini trophies, so it was cool.
What a fun weekend! Glad to be going home, though. The legs need a rest!
